We just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year for 2011. We've been enjoying our Christmas break baking and doing lots of fun crafts, and we thought we would share a few of our yummy looking deserts with you! Sugar cookies, with royal Icing. The marbling (the cool little designs in the cookies) is so easy to do and so much fun. Love this time of year. Merry Christmas everyone, we hope your holiday is wonderful!

Darian-West Valley High School-2012

Darian's evening shoot was relaxed, laid back and had perfect weather. Not too cool, not to hot with the sun in nearly the perfect place in the sky for photos. I don't often do evening shoots but we had a great time finding some new, grungy places for photos and visiting some of my favorite other locations. The photos turned out fantastic, it was hard to choose just a few to show here. Have a great senior year Darian!

Susan-West Valley High School-2012

Considering that the weather took a cold and windy turn this week- we had alot of fun on Susan's shoot in CDA. We played around by the beach and then hunted down some spots in downtown. Susan was very fun and laid back. After our shoot we enjoyed hamburgers at Hudsons, thanks for the fun day!!!

Kelli's shoot was very laid back and fun. Early morning we made the rounds to the high school softball field for some neat photos with the back stop, to the river and then to a few area parks. Kelli was so easy going and the shoot was a breeze!! The photos turned out beautiful, thanks for a great morning Kelli!

Stephanie-North Central High School-2012

Taking senior portraits for Stephanie was such a blast. She was my first senior from north central high school this year. We had alot of fun figuring out how to work her school spirit, swim gear, piano playing skills, etc into her shoot. She was so easy going and down to earth and it made for a breezy wonderful shoot. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day, they turned out just lovely.

Quincee-West Valley High School-2012

Quincee was a wonderful model to take photo's of. She was game for just about anything! We found several new locations for her photos and had an absolute blast on her shoot. We were able to get a variety of photos with grungy, park and waterside locations and her photo's turned out absolutely stunning. Thank you for such a fantastic time Quincee

Justin was the first Guy to have his senior portraits done with us this year and it was such a blast. We got some great shots on the West Valley High School baseball field, visited some of our favorite spots and found several new spots! Thanks for a great shoot Justin!

We had almost perfect lighting for our morning shoot in CDA. We got done just before it got too hot, and then had a blast shooting in some new, neat locations at Jenna's own home. She was so fun to work with and made the shoot an absolute breeze. Thanks for the great morning Jenna!

Jordyn-West Valley High School-Senior 2012

For Jordyn's early morning photo shoot, we had nearly perfect weather. The only problem? Rain and sprinklers made the ground a muddy,grassy mess. But that couldn't stop us. Baby wipes in hand, we went to several locations where we were able to get a variety of gorgeous shots. Jordyn was a lovely model, so sweet and so much fun to work with.

Mariah-West Valley High School-Senior 2012

This was our first ever evening photo shoot in CDA and it went wonderfully. Mariah was so easy to work with and such a lovely model. Her mom brought along some pretty rose buds for her hair which made for an excellent shot. Evening light, warm weather and a beautiful model to work with made this shoot a breezy success.

Danielle-Lakeside High School-Class of 2012

For Danielle's photo shoot we wanted a grungy feel! We found several fun, new locations that offered GREAT shots. However, due to technical difficulties and a very breezy evening we had to cut our time short so we decided to head out for a second shoot. On the second shoot we opted for more greenery and parks. Between the two outings we got a wonderful variety of photos and had a great time. Danielle was such a great sport and they turned out beautifully.

Jessica-Ferris High School-Senior 2012

Our first photoshoot of the Senior Season went off without a hitch. Jessica was very outgoing and alot of fun to be around. Kamie and Shane Engagement

My Niece, Kamie is getting married to Shane Kelly at the end of august. We took them up to Greenbluff yesterday for their engagement pictures (part one) and had a great time. There are so many cool trees and old farm equipment to play around with. They are such a great couple and they made this photoshoot a breeze.

Cannon Beach 2011

Our family took a trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon over Spring Break this year and we had a blast. Even though we had alot of rain on our trip we still got some really neat pictures and had alot of fun hunting for shells and playing football on the beach.

Stephanie and Gage- Fall Pictures 2010

This past weekend I took photos for my daughters friend and her boyfriend before he leaves for school in Arizona. It was freezing, but we managed to get some great pictures. I would have to say that the best part of the day was when Gage through a whole fist full of leaves right in Stephanie's face- which I managed to capture perfect evidence of. As it gets colder and colder it gets harder to take pictures, but we made it through the wind and fog with some shots I absolutely love!

Each Fall I have the wonderful opportunity to do family photos for my niece, her husband and their adorable son Preston. Preston is the sweetest, most inquisitive little boy. He was such a joy to take pictures of. I was very worried we wouldn't be able to work the fall colors in, as the weather has been cold, and grey and rainy. Thankfully the sun peeked out last sunday morning and gave us picture perfect weather. They were dressed in their church clothes, but thankfully church was over by the time we go to the park, because after rolling around in the leaves they were filthy (but very happy!).

I have had the opportunity to take Champ and Brooklyn's photos before, and they are such sweet kids. These pictures were partially in honor of Champ's birthday, and he is all rough-and-tumble boy. He had so much fun playing around on the toys in the park, but was also a complete darling posing with his baby sister Brooklyn. This time though, I also had the opportunity to take photos of Champ and Brooklyn's three older cousins Lucy, Izzy and Anna. They are gorgeous, fun loving girls who were an absolute joy to work with. They were having so much fun they even started picking out places for pictures and choosing their own poses. Working with children is always so much fun, especially catching the candid moments, and this family was a definite joy. Thanks for the great weekend guys!

Kiah-Lewis and Clark High School-2011

Being one of my last seniors of the year, this photoshoot was much colder and a lot more "fall like". Kiah was a great model. She didn't show how cold she was in her short sleeves, which is very impressive, since she was freezing! Her easy going personality is very apparent in these photos and made her shoot such a pleasure.

Baby Brooklyn

It's always fun to follow a family as their kids grow up. Baby Brooklyn is the brand new baby sister of Champ, who's 3 year old pictures we did last fall. She is such a beautiful baby girl. We couldn't get her to sleep, she was ready to be awake!! But regardless we still got some great shots. They are just so precious at this age.

Paige Kids-Round Two!!

On our first shoot we didn't quite get all of the group shots we were looking for, so we decided to go for round two! It was such a blast taking candid pictures of the kids playing with their footballs and tickling each other. Watch out WSU, you might just have some pretty talented future football players headed your way!

We were a little bit worried that the weather was going to be to cold and rainy for Ryan's shoot, but as it turned out, we even got a little bit of sun! Ryan is a great guy and was a pleasure to shoot with. We got to play around with his sports equipment, and went to some of my favorite spots. Brady-West Valley High School-Senior 2011

Brady's shoot differed from the rest this summer, because it was absolutely FREEZING during his shoot. But, T-shirt and all, he managed to stick it out for some very great pictures. My favorites are the ones by the train, we had to ask the FBI's permission to take pictures there (long story). Luckily we made it out of all of our "dangerous" spots unscathed, with some really fantastic photos. Thanks Brady!

We had a great time with Brandon's shoot, although the weather was all but cooperative. It was very windy and the air was full of dust! But Brandon stuck it out for some really great pictures. This was my second trip out to CDA this summer and for once, the weather cooperated! I had alot of fun with Ashley, discovering new locations and trying out some new poses! Our good friends the Paige's have three very sweet and adorable children. Sam, Julia and Katrina had alot of fun playing on the rocks and climbing trees at the Finch Arboretum here in Spokane. It makes me miss my own kids at this age, they grow up so fast. These photos are going to make a great treasure for their mom and dad!
